Remember the router's login password, and check the Wi-Fi password method
Method 1: Through the HUAWEI AI Life app
- Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.
- Open the HUAWEI AI Life app on your phone, and go to Network > Wi-Fi management.
- Go to Wi-Fi , and touch the
icon next to Wi-Fi password to view your current Wi-Fi password.
Method 2: Through the web-based management page on your computer
- Connect your computer to your router's Wi-Fi network. You can also connect your computer to the LAN port on your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Open your Internet browser. Enter the default IP address in your browser's address bar and log in to your router's web-based management page (check the nameplate on the router for the default IP address).
For routers that feature self-adaptive ports, you do not need to distinguish between WAN and LAN ports.
- Click My Wi-Fi, then click the
icon next to Wi-Fi network password to view your current Wi-Fi password.
Forgot the router password, how to set Wi-Fi password
- If you forget both the router's login password and Wi-Fi password, you can restore your router to its factory settings: Use a pin to press the Reset button (WPS/RESET)on your router for approximately 8 seconds until the indicator turns off, then follow the instructions in the user manual to reset the router.
- After you restore your router to its factory settings, all existing configurations will be lost. You will need to configure your router again before you can access the Internet.
- You cannot retrieve the forgotten Wi-Fi password, so you can only restore the factory settings and set the Wi-Fi password again.
