Terms & Conditions for Huawei P40 series

    This “1 year extended warranty” plan (“Extended Warranty Plan”) extends warranty on Huawei P40 series mobile handset only for an additional one (1) year upon the expiry of the initial first year warranty period subject to the terms and conditions below. Accessories that come with the mobile handset such as the power adapter, battery, headphones and any other accessories supplied in the box are not covered in this Extended Warranty Plan.

  1. This Extended Warranty Plan is run by Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Huawei”) from 26 June 2020 to 30 September 2020 (“Extended Warranty Plan Period”).

  2. This Extended Warranty Plan applies only to the Huawei P40 series mobile handset purchased in Malaysia within the Extended Warranty Plan Period.

  3. In order to be eligible for this Extended Warranty Plan, customer must claim his entitlement by registering on Support, within Fifteen(15) days from the date of purchase of the Huawei P40 series mobile handset, during the Extended Warranty Plan Period.

  4. Extended warranty may be subject to verification of documents and/or information provided by customer. Huawei reserves a right to seek such additional documents and/or information from the customer as it may deem appropriate.

  5. After claiming the entitlement at Support, the extended warranty period will be reflected on customer’s Support account within seven (7) business days from the date of claim. Customer may query the above extended warranty in Warranty Period & Support Service Query on Support or Huawei Official Website.

  6. Huawei ID is required for the redemption of Extended Warranty Plan. The customer agrees and provides consent to Huawei to the use of any Personal Data (including to transfer the Personal Data outside Malaysia or its third-party service providers)as provided by the customer for the purpose of participation in this Extended Warranty Plan in line with the applicable laws of Malaysia, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by Huawei for lawful purpose directly related to the running of the Extended Warranty Plan including but not limited to the purposes of verification, promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Extended Warranty Plan. By providing the personal data, customer indicates that he/she has read, understood and agreed to be bound by Huawei’s Privacy Policy stated at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/legal/privacy-policy. The participant agrees that Huawei and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email or such other method in connection with this Extended Warranty Plan..

  7. The terms and conditions of the warranty policy stated in https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/warranty-policy/ shall apply to the Extended Warranty Plan.

  8. Huawei reserves the right to the final and ultimate interpretation of this Extended Warranty Plan.

  9. This Terms and Conditions is updated as at 15 June 2020.
