  • 1. Where can I participate in the activity?
    Answer: You can participate and repair your device at the HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers or via postal delivery service. The available service centers are listed in T&C.
  • 2. What are the precautions for PC System Reinstallation service?
    Answer: PC System Reinstallation is only available for installation of the factory pre-installed system. The data of the device to be renewed should be backed up to other devices in advance to avoid accidental data loss and other situations during the system reinstallation process.
  • 3. How can I participate in PC System Reinstallation service?
    Answer: The PC System Reinstallation can be available for three ways: Reservation, Walk in to Customer Service Center, and Postal Repair.

Terms & Conditions for HUAWEI Service Giving Season Campaign

1. HUAWEI Service Giving Season (“Campaign”) is organized by HUAWEI Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HUAWEI”) at the participating HUAWEI Authorized Service Center(s) (“ASC”) listed below:

2. HUAWEI Service Giving Season (“Campaign”) is organized by HUAWEI Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“HUAWEI”). This Campaign will run from 15th November 2024 to 31st December 2024 (“Campaign Period”). HUAWEI shall reserve the right to shorten or extend the HUAWEI Service Giving Season Campaign Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.

3. Only HUAWEI devices which are sold through authorized channels in Malaysia are eligible participate in this activity.

FREE LABOR FOR OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIR

4. Free Labor for out of warranty repair is only available for walk-in or via postal delivery service customers of selected HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers. HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers, their employees and immediate families of employees are not allowed to participate in this campaign. HUAWEI’s distributors, dealers, partners, program organizer, their employees and immediate families of employees are not allowed to participate in this campaign.

5. Customer is entitled to free labor charge on repair services of HUAWEI devices during this campaign. For the avoidance of doubt, this campaign only waives the labor charge of repair service. Customer is still required to pay the cost of parts replacement according to the repair quotation.

6. You may refer to the repair labor charge based on the table below:

7. Each device are only able to participate in this promotion once during the entire campaign.

8. The participating ASC(s) for this Free Labor is subject to classification into Service Points and Collection Points based on the device type, in accordance with the table below:

9. Devices which are presented at Collection Points will be transported to an available Service Point for purposes of carrying out the requested service. Upon completion, the customer may elect for the serviced device to be (i) transported back to the original Collection Point for collection by the customer; or (ii) delivered to an address appointed by the customer (within Malaysia only). All such transportation costs will be borne by HUAWEI.

10. The spare parts which replaced under this promotion are entitled to 90 days warranty starting from the date of collection of the repaired device. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty applies only to the selected spare parts replaced and does not cover damage resulting from mishandling of the repaired device or human induced damage.

11. The stock of selected spare parts of each ASC are subject to availability and will be supplied on a first-come-first-served basis.

FREE SCREEN PROTECTOR

12. Free Screen Protector is applicable to limited models of devices only. May directly walk-in to HUAWEI Authorized Service Center for information.

13. The stocks of Free Screen Protector are subject to availability and will be supplied on a first come, first served basis.

14. Each customer (of the same identity) is eligible to claim one free screen protector only once during the campaign, and it will be applied in-house.

FREE GIFT

15. Customers who repairs at the selected Authorized Service Centers listed in section 1 ASC and customers who use postal delivery service for repairment are eligible to receive the extra gifts.

16. Each Customer (of the same identity) is only allowed to receive a maximum of one (1) free gift throughout the Activity Period. The applicable free gift stocks are limited and will be on a first-come-first-served basis, available only to those who repair during walk-in or through postal repair service and only while stock lasts.

17. Free gift is decided by the respective ASC at its sole discretion. Please check with the ASC for more details of the free gift. HUAWEI and the ASC reserve the right to change the free gift with gifts of similar value without prior notification at its sole and absolute discretion. Free gifts are not exchangeable for cash or item, and are non-transferable.

18. HUAWEI and the ASC assumes no liability or responsibility in respect to defect or deficiency of the free gift or the nature/consumption of the free gift and will not entertain any direct correspondence with anyone in this regard.

PC SYSTEM REINSTALLATION

19. Free PC System Reinstallation only available for PCs purchased within the last 5 years from official HUAWEI portals which is purchased from Malaysia region.

20. The system reinstallation includes the installation of the operating system and essential drivers. Additional software installations are not included.

21. Each device can only participate in this promotion once during the entire campaign.

HUAWEI CARE

22. During the Campaign Period, users are entitled to purchase HUAWEI Care service for selected devices, at a discounted price of up to 40%. Users may enjoy these discounts to extend their device’s warranty or to protect their device screens and main parts and enjoy a lower price to replace the accidentally damaged parts. Note that a replacement fee will still be required to be paid at the time of replacement. 23. Only certain devices will be participated in the campaign, while others won't be included, they will maintain their original prices. For instance, devices like HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 WIFI and HUAWEI MateBook D 16 2024 are not covered by this event.

PRIVACY

24. By participating in this Campaign, customer hereby agrees and provides consent to HUAWEI, its affiliates, and the ASC(s) to the use of any personal data as provided by the customer for the purpose of participation in Campaign in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HUAWEI and the ASC(s) for lawful purposes directly related to the running of this Campaign and in line with HUAWEI's Privacy Policy stated at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/legal/privacy-policy/.

GENERAL

25. Customer shall back up his/her data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information from his/her device before sending in his/her device to ASC for diagnosis or repair. HUAWEI is not responsible for the damage or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media in the device.

26. By participating in this Campaign, customer agrees to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Campaign. Customer agrees to grant HUAWEI a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs, voice, biographical information and/or statements of the customer, at any time or times, in all media types worldwide for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes and the customer will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

27. If customers are discovered to be using or have used improper means to participate in this Campaign, HUAWEI reserves the right to cancel the eligibility of the customer without notice.

28. By participating in this Campaign, customers are deemed to have reviewed, read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

29. Devices purchased from unauthorized channels are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.

30. HUAWEI reserves the rights to add, modify and/or cancel the Terms and Conditions herein at any time without further notice.

31. This Campaign and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
