HUAWEI Trademark Policy

HUAWEI Trademarks herein refer to any word marks, designs, acronyms, logos, slogans, taglines, trade dresses or other brand features owned or used by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd and / or its affiliates (Collectively as “HUAWEI Company”) to identify and distinguish HUAWEI Company as the source of its products or services.

The following HUAWEI Trademark list is a non-exhaustive list of HUAWEI Trademarks owned by HUAWEI Company registered in China or other countries. The list does not include HUAWEI Company’s many common law trademarks. HUAWEI Company herein merely lists some of important HUAWEI Trademarks. The absence of any HUAWEI Trademarks from this list does not constitute a waiver of any intellectual property rights that HUAWEI Company has established in any of them.

HUAWEI Trademark list

HUAWEI Trademark Policy (herein referred to as “Policy”) applies to HUAWEI Company’s licensees, authorized resellers, contractors, customers, and other parties wishing to use HUAWEI Trademarks in promotional, advertising, instructional, reference materials, or on their web sites, products, labels, packaging or other materials. Apply for HUAWEI Trademark Authorization.

If you are a licensee of one or more of HUAWEI Trademarks and have been provided with specific trademark policy with your license agreements or other agreements, please follow that policy. If your license agreements or other agreements do not provide any trademark policy, then follow this Policy.

By using one or more of HUAWEI Trademarks, in whole or in part, you acknowledge that HUAWEI Company is the sole owner of HUAWEI Trademarks and warrant that you will not challenge HUAWEI Company’s use, registration of, or application to register the trademark(s), alone or in combination with other words, anywhere in the world, and that you will not take or omit to take any action that could dilute or adversely affect any of HUWEI Trademarks, Huawei Company’s ownership thereof or any related goodwill.

Except for the limited right to use as expressly permitted under this Policy, no other rights of any kind or nature are granted hereunder, either express or implied.

Any use of HUAWEI Trademarks or any colorable imitations thereof may constitute trademark infringement or unfair competition unless otherwise expressly authorized by HUAWEI Company. Among others, the following are prohibited without prior written permission from HUAWEI Company:

a). You may not use or register, in whole or in part, any of HUAWEI Trademarks or any colorable imitations thereof as or as part of your trademarks, company names, trade names, product names, or service names, technology names, website names, program names or domain names.

b). You may not shorten, abbreviate, misspell or otherwise change in any way any of Huawei Trademarks and in case you are authorized to use any of Huawei Trademarks, you should always use HUAWEI Trademarks exactly as they are shown in the above Huawei Trademark List or as authorized or approved by HUAWEI Company. Do not mistakenly capitalize or use lower case letters when using HUAWEI Trademarks.

c). You may not use any of HUAWEI Trademarks in a disparaging manner.

d). You may not use any of HUAWEI Trademarks on promotional free gifts or give-away merchandise items, such as bags, mugs, T-shirts and so on.

a) Trademarks can only be used as adjectives to modify nouns; the nouns herein mean the generic name of a product or service.

b) As adjectives, trademarks may not be used in the plural or possessive form.

For example:

● HUAWEI®’S (×)

c) An appropriate generic term must appear after the trademark the first time it appears in a printed piece, and as often as is reasonable after that.

For example:

● HUAWEI network equipments

d) Do not create any new logo for HUAWEI Company or its product names.

5.1 Distribution within China Only

a) On products, product packages, or service documentation, or other product or service communications that will be distributed only in China, the appropriate trademark symbol (TM, SM,®) the first time HUAWEI Trademarks appear in the text of the advertisements, brochures, or other materials. Generally, the symbol appears in the upper-right corner or lower right corner of the trademark.

b) Include one of the following attributions of HUAWEI Company’s ownership of its trademarks on your product, product packages, product or service documentation, or other product or service communication.

● HUAWEI and are registered trademark of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd in China.

● HUAWEI and are trademarks of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

5.2 Distribution outside China or worldwide

a) Do not use trademark symbols on products, product packages, product or service documentation promotional materials or pack, or other product or service communications that will be distributed outside China.

b) Include one of the following international trademark notices:

● HUAWEI and are trademarks of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd registered in China and other countries.

● HUAWEI and are trademarks of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
