Perform the following to troubleshoot:
Check whether only some of the call logs are displayed
You may be looking at the Missed screen where only some of the call logs are displayed. On the call log screen, touch All to show your complete call logs.
Check whether you have more call logs than it is possible to store
Your call log can store up to 2000 entries. If the number of entries exceeds this limit, the system will automatically replace the oldest entries with new ones.
Check whether PrivateSpace is enabled
Go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace. If Log in is displayed, it indicates that you have enabled PrivateSpace. The call history of contacts in PrivateSpace is displayed only in the call history of PrivateSpace.
Check whether call logs with the same number have been merged
Check whether your call logs have been merged By contact. Open Phone, touch 
in the upper right corner, go to Settings > Merge call log, and select By time.
Clear Contacts data
- Clearing the Contacts app data will not delete the contacts data that you have already stored.
Open Settings, search for and access Apps, select Contacts, and go to Storage > Clear data.
