My hand feels numb when touching my phone during charging

When touching your phone during charging, a slight charge exchange may sometimes occur between your body and the environment, stimulating your nerves. This is similar to the electrostatic phenomenon when you take off your sweater in a winter night.

However, if the issue frequently occurs, troubleshoot by performing the following:

  1. Check to see if the charger cover or charging cable is damaged. If so, stop using the charger or charging cable and replace it with a standard one to avoid electric leakage.
  2. Use a normal household power supply to charge your phone. Otherwise, the power input may be unstable.
  3. Make sure you use a Huawei official charger to charge your phone. Third-party chargers may lead to safety risks.

Huawei chargers are rigorously tested to ensure that they meet both Chinese CCC standards and international IEC60950 standards, and they do not cause any risks of electrical shock during normal use.

If the issue persists, back up your data and take your phone, charger, data cable and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
