The top of the screen appears white and leaks light, and the bottom of the screen appears blurry or has shadows on my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Problem:

1. The bottom of the screen appears blurry or has shadows.

2. The part of the screen around the front camera hole/notch and corners appears white, leaks light, and has uneven edges.

3. The part of the screen around the front camera hole differs from other parts of the screen in brightness.

Cause:

1. Your phone/tablet has a bezel-less screen which casts a dark shadow when viewed from a certain angle. This slight shadow won't affect your ability to use your device normally.
2. Due to the special structure design and optical effect of the screen area around the front camera hole/notch and corners, you may notice a slight whitening, light leakage, or uneven edges from a certain angle.
3. The coating may be uneven in this area. This issue occurs only when the ambient brightness is low and the screen background is dark, and will not worsen over extended use. Please rest assured.

Solution:

1. You can change your phone theme to one with a different color to see if the issue is resolved.

2. If the issue persists from the front view, there may be an issue with the screen hardware.

3. If you still have any concerns or there is an issue with the screen hardware, back up your data and take your device, original charger, data cable, and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
