Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Log in from Outlook/Exchange entry
Try logging in from Outlook/Exchange entry, and entering your email account and password.
2. Enable the POP and IMAP servers
Log in to the web-based Outlook on your computer. Then, go to Settings > Sync email, and enable POP3/SMTP/IMAP/Exchange.
3. Disable the two-step verification feature, and try again
- In a browser app on your phone, go to https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage, enter your email address, and touch Next.
- Enter the password.

- Verify your identity using the personal information you provided when registering your email. (The following uses verification using a phone number as an example.)

- Enter the last four digits of your reserved phone number and then the verification code.

- After verification is successful, select No thanks.

- Locate Two-step verification, and click on Turn off two-step verification.

- When the following dialog box appears, touch Yes.

- If your screen resembles the following figure, two-step verification has been turned off.

4. If the issue persists
If the issue remains unresolved, call the Huawei customer service for further assistance.
