My Huawei phone/tablet can't find my Bluetooth earphones or speaker

Cause:

Your earphones or speaker may not be in Pairing mode. To connect a new phone to your earphones or speaker, you need to set the earphones or speaker to enter Pairing mode again for them to be detected by your phone.

Solution:

Set your earphones or speaker to enter Pairing mode. The method for entering Pairing mode may vary depending on the earphone/speaker brand and model. The following steps provide guidance for how to set Huawei Bluetooth earphones and speakers to enter Pairing mode. For models of other brands, please refer to the product's user guide or call the corresponding customer service hotline for assistance.

HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro

Enter Pairing mode: Place the earphones in the charging case, leave the case open, then press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds until the inner indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the earphones via Bluetooth on your phone. Factory data reset: Press and hold the Function button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red. This will restore the earphones to their factory settings and they will then enter Pairing mode.

HUAWEI FreeBuds Studio

Enter Pairing mode: Power on the earphones, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the earphones via Bluetooth on your phone. Factory data reset: Power on the earphones, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red. This will restore the earphones to their factory settings and they will then enter Pairing mode.

When the indicator flashes white, this indicates that the earphones have been restored to their factory settings and they will then enter Pairing mode.

You can then search for and pair with the earphones via Bluetooth on your phone. This will restore the earphones to their factory settings and they will then enter Pairing mode.

HONOR FlyPods Lite

Enter Pairing mode: Place the earphones in the charging case, leave the case open, then press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds until the inner indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the earphones via Bluetooth on your phone.

HONOR xSport PRO

Enter Pairing mode: With the earphones powered on or off, press and hold the Function button for 4–6 seconds until the indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the earphones via Bluetooth on your phone.

HUAWEI mini

Enter Pairing mode for a single speaker: With the speaker powered on, press and hold the button for 12 seconds to reset the speaker. You can then search for and pair with the speaker on your phone.

Enter Pairing mode for dual speakers: Connect either speaker to your phone and use it as the primary speaker. Quickly tap the button on the other speaker three times until its indicator flashes blue. Double-tap the button on the primary speaker until its indicator alternatively flashes red and blue to enable TWS pairing mode between the two speakers. You can then use your phone to search for and pair with both speakers.

HUAWEI Sound

Enter Pairing mode: Press and hold the Function button for 3 seconds and enable Bluetooth on the speaker. You can then search for and pair with the speaker on your phone.

HUAWEI Sound X

Press and hold the Function button on the speaker or say "Hi Celia, turn on Bluetooth" to enable Bluetooth on the speaker. The speaker will then prompt you that Bluetooth has been turned on. You can then search for and pair with the speaker on your phone.

HUAWEI X Gentle Monster Eyewear

Enter Pairing mode: Place the glasses in the glasses case, leave the case open, then press and hold the Function button for 3–6 seconds until the inner indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the glasses on your phone.

HUAWEI X GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear II

Enter Pairing mode: Power on the glasses, place the glasses in the glasses case, leave the case open, then press and hold the Function button for 3–6 seconds until the inner indicator flashes white. You can then search for and pair with the glasses via Bluetooth on your phone. Alternatively, open the AI Life app and set the pinch shortcut of the left glasses arm to enter Pairing mode.

If the earphones or speaker still cannot be found:

1. Use two phones that do not have pairing records to search for the earphones or speaker at the same time. If the earphones or speaker still cannot be found, the earphones or speaker may be faulty.

2. If only your phone cannot find the earphones or speaker, open Settings, search for Reset network settings, touch Reset network settings, and then try again.

If the preceding methods cannot resolve this issue, bring your phone, earphones/speaker, and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
