Photos taken on my HUAWEI phone/tablet are noisy and appear white

Problem:

• Photos taken by the front camera have noise and black spots.
• Photos taken by the rear camera are overexposed.
• Photos taken in backlight are overexposed and appear blurry.

Cause:

1. Currently, all phones/tablets increase the ISO sensitivity of Camera to restore the authenticity of night scenes. The ISO sensitivity is automatically adjusted based on the ambient brightness. If the brightness is low or the environment is dark, the ISO sensitivity of Camera is automatically increased. However, the noise is also amplified at the same time. As a result, the screen displays noise and black spots.
2. When the overall brightness is low, Camera automatically enters the special mode for brightening night scenes, increases the ISO sensitivity of the camera, and amplifies the noise at the same time. However, the overall brightness is greatly improved.
3. When shooting with the sun or other light source behind the subject, too much light may enter through the lens. The result may be an overly bright photograph with significantly reduced contrast.

Solution:

1. When taking photos with the front camera, you can choose an environment with good light conditions and an angle of view. Alternatively, you can tap the icon at the top of the screen and set it to steady on ().

   

2. When using the rear camera to shoot photos in the dark, it is recommended that you enable Super nightshot or Night shot mode. This mode helps sharpen image details and improve brightness and color to produce crisp, vivid images.
3. When shooting in backlight, it is recommended that you adjust the shooting angle to avoid the strong light source from directly shooting into the lens. Alternatively, use your hand or other objects to block the light.
4. You can also back up your data, bring your proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
