Unable to take screenshots or record the screen in certain third-party apps on my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Problem:

The user is unable to take screenshots or record the screen (such as the payment QR code and account/password screen) in certain third-party apps. The following issues may occur:

  1. A black screen is displayed but sound continues to play when the screen recording captured in the app is opened in Gallery.
  2. When taking a screenshot of the app screen, the message "Unable to take screenshots of private content." displays.
  3. When taking a screenshot, the screenshot cannot be displayed, and Couldn't capture screenshot is displayed in the menu bar, as shown below:

Cause:

If you can take screenshots of other screens on your phone but cannot take screenshots of some third-party app screens, this is because the apps disallow screenshots and screen recordings of their interfaces in the consideration of user information security or video copyright restrictions.
