CAservice consumes a lot of power

Problem:

The Consumption level screen indicates that CAservice is using a lot of battery power.

Cause:

CAservice is a system app that delivers wakeup services for Location alert. When Location alert is enabled, your phone will send you location-based reminders, resulting in frequent device wakeups and higher battery power consumption.

Solution:

1. Delete unwanted reminders as follows: For versions earlier than EMUI 9.0, go to Notepad > New > Note. For EMUI 9.0, go to Notepad > To-do, touch the + icon and then . Select the desired reminder and touch the delete icon.
2. If the issue persists, contact Huawei customer service for assistance and tell them your phone model and system version.
