The screen brightness changes abruptly when the ambient light conditions change

Problem:

The phone's screen brightness changes abruptly when the ambient light conditions change. For example, if the phone is moved from a dim environment to a bright environment, the screen suddenly becomes bright.

Cause:

Animator duration scale is turned off.

Solution:

Open Settings, search for and access Animator duration scale, then select Animation scale 1x.

If you can't find Animator duration scale, open Settings, search for and access Build number, touch Build number seven times in a row until "You are now a developer!" is displayed, then try again.
