Use Timeline on Windows 10

Timeline is a new feature released with Windows 1803 (RS4) version. Once enabled, Timeline can help you track all activities in the laptop such as the apps used, documents or web page visited. Easily go back to anything you saw before, and save time amidst your busy schedule.

To display Timeline, perform any of the following:

Method 1: Swipe up with three or four fingers on the touchpad.

Method 2: Hit Windows and Tab key together.

Method 3: Click the Timeline icon on the desktop.

To clear activity history in the Timeline, perform the following:

• To clear a single activity, right-click on the activity you want to delete and select Delete. To clear activities after a specific date, right-click any of the activities and select Clear all from Earlier Today.
• To clear all activities in the Timeline.

1. Click the Windows icon and then Settings icon, and click Privacy.

   

2. Go to Activity history > Clear activity history > Clear to clear all activities in the Timeline.

   

You can clear Store my activity on this device if you do not wish to use any activity tracking on Windows 10.
