How to set a HUAWEI computer to preferentially invoke the NVIDIA discrete graphics card

If a computer is equipped with two graphics cards (a discrete graphics card and an integrated graphics card), the Windows system will automatically invoke the graphics cards by default based on the running programs. However, you can perform the following operations to let your computer preferentially use the discrete graphics card for data processing.

  • Please note that after applying the setting, the integrated graphics card will still be preferentially invoked for signal and display output, the discrete graphics card will only be automatically invoked when the integrated graphics card cannot be invoked or does not allow the programs to stably run in the background, and the system will invoke the integrated graphics card again when there are not very many tasks running in the background.
  • This setting only applies to computers that come with dual graphics cards and certain apps. For details about supported apps, please contact NVIDIA.
