Modifying the Notification Center settings on a HUAWEI computer

You can view the notification messages of apps or system operations and perform quick operations in the Windows Notification Center.

  • Windows 11
    1. Press Win () + I to open the Settings window, and go to System > Notifications.

    2. On the Notifications screen, you can set the parameters as required.

      • Click to expand Notifications. You can choose whether to enable Allow notifications to play sounds, Show notifications on the lock screen, or Show reminders and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen.

      • If Do not disturb is enabled, notifications will go straight to the Notification Center.

      • Click to expand Turn on do not disturb automatically and set to automatically enable Do not disturb during a specific period or in a specific scenario (for example, when playing a game).

      • Click to expand Set priority notifications. You can choose which notifications are allowed to be enabled when Do not disturb mode is on. All other notifications will be retained in the Notification Center. Alerts and important app notifications will not be affected by these settings.

      • Click to expand Focus. You can set the focus duration and select other settings as required (for example, Hide flashing on taskbar apps).

    3. Under Notifications from apps and other senders, you can set whether to enable notifications for apps, notification priorities, and notification sound. (The following figures use OneDrive as an example.)

  • Windows 10
    1. Press Win () + I to open the Settings window, and click System.

    2. Click Notifications & actions and enable the desired notifications on the right of the screen.
