After joining the Windows Insider Program, you will receive the latest information about new versions of Windows 10 as soon as it is available.

To join the program, perform the following:

1. Click the Windows icon and the Settings icon, and select Update & Security.

   

2. Click Windows Insider Program and then Get started.

   

3. Click Link an account, select your Microsoft account, and click Continue.

   

   

   If your Microsoft account is not included in the Windows Insider Program, a pop up message will appear, providing instructions for how to register. Click Sign Up and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the agreement. You will then be directed to the Link an account screen.

   

4. Select your desired content type and click Confirm.

   

5. Select your desired frequency for receiving update notifications and click Confirm.

   

6. Click Confirm on the Help Us Improve Windows screen.

   

7. Select either Restart Now or Restart Later. You can obtain an internal preview version after restarting your computer.
