Third-party device driver programs do not load in Safe Mode resulting in features including the fingerprint, Bluetooth, and network not working.
- Press and hold F8 during startup.
- Click Troubleshoot on the Choose an option screen and go to Advanced options > See more recovery options > Startup Settings > Restart. Alternatively, go to .
- Press the 4 key or F4 key and click Enable Safe Mode to enter Safe Mode.
- Click the Windows icon and go to Windows System > Control Panel.
- Open Control Panel and select Uninstall a program.
- Click View installed updates.
- Right-click the update you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Some system patches are closely related to system security. After the update, the patches cannot be uninstalled. If you right-click the update, the Uninstall option will not be displayed.
- Some third-party antivirus software and monitoring software cannot be uninstalled using this method. You can delete them by deleting their folders. Antivirus software and monitoring software are usually stored in "C:\Program Files (x86)" or "D:\Program Files (x86)". Go to the path, find the corresponding files, and delete them.
