Use the Snap feature in Windows 10

- Click the Windows icon and then the Settings icon, and select System.
- Go to Multitasking and enable all four switches under Snap.
To disable the Snap feature, disable the four switches mentioned above.
After the Snap feature is enabled, you can quickly resize and rearrange windows position on your screen by snapping a window into full screen or snapping 2-4 windows side-by-side.
Snapping a window into full screen
- Click the title bar of a window and drag it to the top edge of the screen until you can see a semi-transparent red line.
- You will then see a semi-transparent preview window displayed on the screen.
- Release your mouse to snap the window into the full screen.
Snapping two windows
- Click the title bar of the window and drag it to the left or right edge of the screen.
- You will then see a semi-transparent preview window displayed on the left or the right side of the screen.
- Release the mouse to finish the operation.
If you have opened multiple windows at the same time, other windows will fit into the rest of the screen automatically.
Snapping four windows
- Click the title bar of the window and drag it to any of the four corners of the screen.
- You will then see a semi-transparent preview window displayed in that quadrant. Take the window in the top-left corner of the screen as an example:
- Release the mouse to finish the operation.
You can use keyboard shortcuts to snap windows into the corners as well.
- Press the Windows key + up arrow to snap the window into full screen. Press the Windows key + down arrow to restore the window back to the original position.
- Press the Windows key + left/right arrow to snap to one half of the screen. Press the Windows key + right/left arrow to restore the windows back to the original positions.
- Press the Windows Key + left/right arrow + up/down arrow to snap to one quarter of the screen. Press the Windows Key + right/left arrow + up/down arrow to restore the windows back to the original positions
