Resetting Internet Explorer

If Internet Explorer crashes or starts to slow down, you can try restoring it to its default settings. (Resetting the browser may lead to the loss of certain data, such as your browsing history and personalized settings.)

Method 1:

  1. Open Internet Explorer, click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select Internet options.

  2. Go to Advanced > Reset. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, select Reset.

  3. Restart your computer.

Method 2:

  1. Search for "Control Panel" in the search box on the taskbar and open it.

  2. Click Network and Internet.

  3. Select Internet Options.

  4. Select Advanced and click Reset.

  5. Click Reset.

  6. Once the reset is complete, click Close.
