My computer doesn't enter Sleep mode at the set time

Problem

When you set your computer to automatically enter Sleep mode after a certain period of disuse, the computer does not enter Sleep mode after the set period.

Cause

Currently running apps (such as music or download apps), Windows updates, and downloads will prevent the system from entering Sleep mode.

Solution

  1. To allow your computer to enter Sleep mode at the set time, pause all currently running apps and Windows updates.
    1. Enter cmd in the search box on the taskbar and select Run as administrator.
    2. On the CLI, enter powercfg -requests and press Enter. This command enumerates the power requests of applications and drivers to know which additional programs affect the power state of the computer.

    3. Stopping running app in the background (Weknow ID: en-us15854150): https://consumer-tkb.huawei.com/weknow/index.html#!a/detail.html?contextNo=en-us15854150
