Unable to change function key settings after uninstalling PC Manager

Cause:

After you have configured the function key settings in PC Manager, the configuration is automatically recorded in BIOS. If you uninstall PC Manager, it will not clear the function key settings in BIOS and the system will continue to use your last configuration.

Solution:

If you wish to switch the function key settings, search for your computer model in the Huawei https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/ official website. Download and install the PC Manager installation package, and set up the function key as desired.

 
  1. Ensure that you are running the latest version of PC Manager.
  2. The PC Manager installation package is compatible with Huawei MateBook products and configured based on corresponding models.
