A bright white line appears at the edge of the screen when playing videos in full screen mode on Microsoft Edge browser

Problem

When the user opens Microsoft Edge browser to play an online video in full screen, a bright white line is displayed on the right edge of the screen.

Cause

This problem occurs because of an error in Edge browser.

Solution

  1. Set Change the size of text, apps, and other items to 150% in Scale and layout. To do this, perform the following:
    1. Click the Windows icon on the taskbar.

    2. Click the Settings icon.

    3. In the displayed Windows Settings window, click to open System.

    4. Click Display, and set Change the size of text, apps, and other items to 150%.

  2. It is recommended that you use another browser to watch the video in full-screen mode.
  3. If white lines appear on the desktop display edge, there may be a problem with your wallpaper. Try using a different wallpaper.
