Set emergency contacts for your account

Emergency contacts can be used to retrieve the password of your account. When you retrieve your account password on a new device, a verification code and the emergency contact information will be required.

To add Emergency contacts: Go to Account center > Account security > Emergency contacts, and touch Add at the bottom.

To delete Emergency contacts: Go to Account center > Account security > Emergency contacts, touch Delete, select the Emergency contacts you want to delete, and touch the tick icon in the upper right corner.

Note:

• The phone number of Emergency contacts cannot be the same as the Security phone number
• The maximum number of Emergency contacts is five.
• Only contacts saved on your phone can be selected as Emergency contacts.When you modify or delete contacts on your phone, you need to update the Emergency contacts that have been added for your account.
• Since Emergency contacts are selected from contacts saved on your phone, you need to ensure that the phone numbers of the selected contacts are entered in the correct text box. Otherwise, these contacts cannot be set as Emergency contacts.

The settings of Emergency contacts will take effect after 24 hours of adding or modifying them.
