"Watch not connected to the Internet" is displayed in the HUAWEI FamCare app

If the watch has a weak signal, is in arrears, has a poor mobile data connection, or has powered off, the HUAWEI FamCare app may not receive messages from the watch for a long time and "Watch not connected to the Internet" will be displayed in the app. In this case, perform the following operations:

Check whether the SIM card can be identified by the watch and whether its signal is normal

Try moving to an area with better reception if the watch cannot receive any signal or its signal is poor.

Check whether your watch is in arrears or data services are unavailable

  • If the SIM card is in arrears, power on your watch, top it up, and restart your watch.
  • Make sure that Mobile data is enabled on your watch and watch apps can access the Internet properly. To check the mobile data switch:

On the kids watch's home screen, press the Home button and go to Settings > Advanced settings > Network & connections > Mobile data.

Check whether your watch is powered off

Your watch cannot access the Internet when it is powered off. Power it on, or charge your watch and then power it on.

Check whether the time on your phone is accurate

Check whether the time on your phone is accurate or whether your phone syncs time automatically. If the time on your phone is different from that on your watch, "Watch not connected to the Internet" will be displayed in the HUAWEI FamCare app. It is recommended that you enable auto time sync for your phone.

For example, to do this on a HUAWEI phone, go to Settings > System & updates > Date & time, and toggle on Set automatically.

If this issue persists, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
