Before you can locate the watch in the HUAWEI FamCare app, make sure the kids watch is powered on and properly connected to the Internet (either mobile data or Wi-Fi). Once you've done that, you can troubleshoot any issues based on the message you see in the HUAWEI FamCare app.

- If the watch is powered off, the parent won't be able to get the latest location information from the HUAWEI FamCare app. Try again once the watch is powered on.
- If neither your child nor the admin has powered off the watch, it may have run out of battery. Go to Communication > Notifications to see if you've received a low battery alert. If that's the case, the issue should be resolved once the watch is charged and connects to the Internet again.
- To view or adjust the Schedule on/off settings, open the HUAWEI FamCare app, and go to Devices > Frequently used > More > Schedule on/off.
- To disable Power button on the watch, open the HUAWEI FamCare app, and go to Devices > Frequently used > More > Settings > Disable Power button on watch.

If the watch has a weak signal, is powered off, out of credit, or has a poor mobile data connection, the app may not receive messages from the watch. For further instructions on how to troubleshoot the issue, refer to "Watch not connected to the Internet" is displayed in the HUAWEI FamCare app.

To locate the kids watch using the HUAWEI FamCare app, both the watch and the parent's phone need to be connected to the Internet. If either device is not connected or has a poor signal, the watch may fail to be located.
If there's an issue with the parent's phone network, check the HUAWEI FamCare app's connection or switch to mobile data. Once the connection is restored, try locating the watch again.
