Viewing/Changing the advanced password for a kids watch

Certain settings on a kids watch, such as Internet connection, lock screen password, and device power-off/restart, can only be accessed with an advanced password.

Viewing the advanced password

If the watch is not linked to any admin:

HUAWEI WATCH KIDS Series: Press the HOME button on the watch five times in quick succession to access the settings screen, then access Advanced without entering a password.

Other watches: Advanced defaults to 0000. Once linked, a random password is generated.

If the watch is linked:

Open HUAWEI FamCare, tap Devices, then go to General watch settings > Advanced PIN settings to view the password.

If the main admin clears the cloud data, the advanced password will be restored to the default value 0000.

Changing the advanced password

  1. Open HUAWEI FamCare, tap Devices, then go to General watch settings > Advanced PIN settings.
  2. Tap Edit at the bottom of the screen, enter a new four-digit password, and tap in the upper right corner to confirm the change.
