If you do not enable HUAWEI TruSleep TM in the Huawei Health app, your wearable device will only use data from its sensor to give you a simple analysis of the duration and quality of your sleep. After this sleep data is synced to the Huawei Health app, only the sleep duration will be displayed in the sleep details page.
If HUAWEI TruSleep TM is enabled in Huawei Health app, your wearable device will use HUAWEI TruSleepTM sleep analysis technology to extrapolate normal sinus rhythm and breathing signals from the heart rate data. The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) method is then used to analyze the coherence and cross-spectral density of the two signals to allow Cardiopulmonary Coupling (CPC) analysis, which can accurately determine which stage of sleep you are in, such as deep sleep, shallow sleep, REM sleep, or wakefulness. Your wearable device not only analyzes your sleep in detail, but also provides you with a sleep score and personalized suggestions to help you improve the quality of your sleep.
