Connect your earbuds to an Android or HarmonyOS device, like a phone/tablet, and check the battery level in the status bar. (You can get a general idea of the battery level based on the battery icon.)

The battery level displayed in the status bar may vary by phone model. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your earbuds.

Method 4: Check the battery level in the pairing prompt when plugging the earbuds into a device.

Supported Products

Steps

  • FreeLace Pro 2

On HUAWEI phones/tablets running EMUI 11.0/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, a pairing prompt will display when you plug the earbuds into the USB port of the phone/tablet to pair or charge the earbuds, where the battery percentage is displayed.

  • FreeLace Pro/FreeLace
  • xSport Pro

On HUAWEI phones/tablets running EMUI 9.1/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, a pairing prompt will display when you plug the earbuds into the USB port of the phone/tablet to pair or charge the earbuds, where the battery percentage is displayed.

Method 5: Check the battery level in the prompt.

For HUAWEI FreeClip/FreeBuds Pro 3, when the two earbuds almost have the same battery level, you will find only one battery level in the prompt. If you want to know the battery level of both earbuds, remove one of them from the charging case and leave the other one in the charging case, then check their battery levels in the AI Life app.

Connect your earbuds to a HUAWEI phone/tablet running EMUI 10.0/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later. When the earbuds are powered on, the charging case is opened, or the earbuds are separated, the battery percentage of the earbuds and charging case will display in a prompt.

When you open and close the case multiple times in succession, there is a small chance that the battery level of each earbud does not display in the prompt. In this case, open and close the case more slowly.
