- When you wear your band/watch at night, you may notice that the device backlight may occasionally turn green or red. This is normal as the device automatically switches the light source type based on the health monitoring feature.
The device uses the intelligent light source switching strategy:
- Sleep mode: Use invisible light (infrared) for heart rate monitoring.
- Non-sleep mode: Use PPG green light for regular monitoring.
- Special features: The corresponding light source is triggered by specific health monitoring (for example, SpO2 monitoring requires the combination of red and green light).

- Operation suggestion
If the light source affects your sleep, you are advised to disable unnecessary monitoring features before going to bed, tighten the strap (to improve signal quality and reduce the frequency of indicator light blinking), and update the device to the latest version.
