When you associate a phone number/Google account/Twitter account with your HUAWEI ID, you are prompted that the phone number/account has been registered or associated with another HUAWEI ID

One phone number/Google account/Twitter account can be associated with only one HUAWEI ID. If you need to associate a phone number/Google account/Twitter account with the current HUAWEI ID, please perform the following operations:

On your phone:

  1. Use the phone number/Google account/Twitter account to log in with the pervious HUAWEI ID.
  2. Delete the pervious HUAWEI ID or disassociate the phone number/Google account/Twitter account from that HUAWEI ID:
    • To delete: Go to Account center > Privacy center > Delete account.
    • To disassociate: Go to Account center > Account and security > Phone/Email/Linked accounts > UNLINK/CHANGE.
  3. Log in with the current HUAWEI ID and associate your phone number/Google account/Twitter account with this HUAWEI ID.

On the desktop:

  1. Use the phone number/Google account/Twitter account to log in to cloud.huawei.com with the pervious HUAWEI ID.
  2. Delete that HUAWEI ID or disassociate the phone number/Google account/Twitter account from that HUAWEI ID:

    To delete: Click User name (on the top right of the page) > My HUAWEI ID > Account center > Settings > Delete account.

    To disassociate: Click User name (on the top right of the page) > My HUAWEI ID to disassociate the phone number/Google account/Twitter account.

  3. Log in with the current HUAWEI ID and associate your phone number/Google account/Twitter account with this HUAWEI ID.
Notes:
  1. A phone number cannot be disassociated from a HUAWEI ID, but can be changed.
  2. If you log in with a third-party account and cannot find the Delete account entry, you need to associate a phone number which is not registered with the HUAWEI ID, and then you can delete the HUAWEI ID.
