Bookshelf is one of the core features of HUAWEI Books. You can add books from the bookstore as well as your local books to Bookshelf, and then categorize, sort, delete, download, or share them. You can also make convenient groups, to help you organize your collection.
Main functions in Bookshelf
- Adding a book to Bookshelf:
Method 1: You can tap the Books App > Bookstore, open a book you preferred, touch the 
in the upper right corner of the reading screen to add a book to bookshelf.
Method 2: You can tap the Books App > Bookstore, open a book you preferred, touch the 
in the upper right corner of the reading screen and touch Book info > 
in the lower left corner to add a book to bookshelf.
- Managing books:
Method 1: You can tap the Books App > Bookshelf > All, touch and hold a book cover, then you can delete, move, download, or share books by touching the icons at the bottom.
Method 2: You can tap the Books App > Bookshelf > All > 
in the upper right corner > Manage all, then you can delete, move, download, or share books by touching the icons at the bottom.
- Filtering books:
You can tap the Books App > Bookshelf > 
to view books you've purchased, downloaded, or started reading, check the progress or updates of books you're reading, or filter by book category.
- Sorting books:
You can tap the Books App > Bookshelf > 
in the upper right corner > Sort books to select your preferred sort method: By time read, By title, and By time imported.
- Checking your reading history:
You can tap the Books App > Bookshelf > 
in the upper right corner > Reading history.
