Charging your band

Charging

  1. Press the two buttons on either side of the strap together to remove the earpiece (band body).
  2. Connect the charging cable provided in the package to your band and charger, and then connect the charger to a power supply.

Charge your band in a dry and well-ventilated environment. Before charging, wipe off any water or sweat on the band, and make sure the band charging port is clean and dry to prevent short circuits.

Use a Huawei charger or other chargers that comply with local and international security standards. Chargers that do not conform to the security standard may cause security issues.

HUAWEI TalkBand B5: Your band supports the following charging voltages and currents: 5 V/0.5 A, 5 V/1 A, 5 V/1.5 A, and 5 V/2 A.

HUAWEI TalkBand B6: Ensure that you use a standard Huawei charger with a rated output voltage of 5 V and a rated output current of 1 A or higher, or connect the band to a laptop's USB port to charge your band.

Charging time

HUAWEI TalkBand B5: : It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the band.

HUAWEI TalkBand B6: : It takes about 65 minutes to fully charge the band.

Viewing the battery level

HUAWEI TalkBand B5: View the battery level on the device's home screen. Alternatively, open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and check the battery level under the device's name.

Low battery alert

  • When the battery level is lower than 20%, your band will vibrate to notify you of the low battery level and prompt you to charge your band as soon as possibleThis is only applicable to the HUAWEI TalkBand B6.
  • When the battery level is lower than 10%, your band will vibrate to notify you of the low battery level and prompt you to charge your band as soon as possible.
  • If the battery level is lower than 5%, your band will enter the ultra-low battery level mode and you will be unable to use features including receiving notifications and making phone calls.
