[HUAWEI]TalkBand pairs with two phones

Connect your device to two phones at the same time, and make calls and play music from both phones. You can only sync data and receive notifications from the phone paired to the device using the Health app.

Connecting to two phones

Method 1: Connect to two phones using your device.

  1. On your device, go to Settings > System > Connectivity and then touch Disconnect or Go connect.

    You will then be prompted with XX is in the discoverable state (XX stands for the Bluetooth name of the device).

  2. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Available device and touch the Bluetooth name of your device.
    • If the device has been paired with a phone using the Health app, you will be prompted with a message on your phone asking to establish a Bluetooth connection. At the same time, the device will vibrate and display the phone model.
    • If the device is not paired with any phone, open the Health app, go to Devices > ADD.
  3. On the phone screen, touch PAIR. On the device screen, touch to finish pairing.

Method 2: Connect to two phones using the Health app.

  1. Open the Health app, touch Devices then your device name, and go to Dual phone connection > Pair another phone.
  2. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Available device and touch the Bluetooth name of your device.

    You will be prompted with a message on your phone asking to establish a Bluetooth connection. At the same time, the device will vibrate and display the phone model.

  3. On the phone screen, touch PAIR. On the device screen, touch to finish pairing.

Viewing the paired phone

  • On your device, go to Settings > System > Connectivity to view the connected phone.
  • Open the Health app, touch Devices then your device name, and go to Device settings > Dual phone connection to view the connected phone.

Unpairing the device from two phones

On the paired phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Paired device, find the paired device, and touch UNPAIR.

Pairing the device to another phone using the Health app

For dual phone connection, you can pair one phone with the device using the Health app. You are free to switch pairing methods between both phones.

  • Connecting the device to another Android phone: Pair the device with the Health app directly.
  • Connecting the device to another iOS phone: Disable Bluetooth in the Health app on the phone that is currently connected to the device. The device will then enter the discoverable state. Connect the device in the Bluetooth settings screen on the new iOS phone then pair the device with the Health app.
