How to reset Microsoft Edge settings on a HUAWEI computer

When Microsoft Edge cannot work properly, you can reset the browser to fix the issue. To do so, perform the following steps.

 

• This operation will reset the startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs, disable all extensions, and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.
• Microsoft Edge 80.0.361.61 is used as an example here. The user interface and operations may vary depending on the browser version.

1. Open Edge and click the More icon in the upper right corner. Then select Settings.

   

2. Click Reset settings.

   

3. Click the > icon next to Restore settings to their default values, and then click Reset when prompted.
