Using self-check mode to check the monitor panel

The appearance of the monitor may vary depending on the model.

The monitor features a self-check mode. You can perform the following operations to check whether the monitor panel is working normally:

  1. Connect the monitor to a power supply and remove the VGA cable and HDMI cable.
  2. Press the following buttons at the same time to enter self-check mode: from left to right, the second button (downward/leftward adjustment button), the third button (upward/rightward adjustment button), and the Power button. (Note: You can also press the second button and the third button at the same time, and then press the Power button to enter self-check mode. Do not press the Power button first, as this will turn off the monitor.) In self-check mode, the monitor alternately displays white, blue, red, and green images on the screen. If the images are displayed abnormally, for example, there are light spots, lines, or bright spots on them, it indicates that the monitor is faulty. In this case, replace the monitor.

  3. After the images are displayed, press the Power button to exit self-check mode, and press the Power button again to return to the screen displayed before you performed this operation.
