The HUAWEI kids watch heats up during charging

The kids watch supports fast charging. It is normal for the watch to heat up slightly while it is being charged. The charging feature of the watch has been strictly tested by Huawei test team and meets safety requirements. Please rest assured.

To prevent the watch from overheating, perform the following:

Use a standard charger and charging cable

Charger: Use a standard charger with a 5 V/1.5 A to 2 A output.

Charging cable: Use the standard charging cable that comes with the watch.

Using a charger of other specifications may cause the watch to heat up due to differences in charging specifications or protocols.

Keep the rear cover of the watch and the charging cradle clean and dry

Regularly use a soft cotton cloth to clean the rear cover of the watch and remove any foreign objects or metal scraps from the charging cradle or metal contacts.

Charge the watch in a cool and well-ventilated place

If you charge the watch in an environment with poor heat dissipation (such as in direct sunlight, on a bed, or on a sofa), the watch may dissipate heat slowly during charging. This can cause the watch temperature to rise significantly. It is recommended that you charge the watch in an environment with good heat dissipation (ensure proper ventilation and avoid direct sunlight).

Once the watch is fully charged, it will automatically stop charging. It is recommended that you remove the watch from the charging cradle and wait for a while before wearing it.
