Using the Character Map feature to insert content including numbers and special characters

Character Map is a useful program included in the Microsoft Windows operating system that can be used to insert accented letters and special characters that cannot be found on the keyboard such as advanced mathematical symbols, scientific equations, currency symbols, and characters in other languages into documents.

  1. Enter "Character Map" in the search box on the taskbar and open it.

  2. Select a font, then find the character and select the one you need, click Copy. Then copy and paste it wherever you want.
