Problem 1:

No sound is played from the HUAWEI Sound speaker when it is connected via an AUX cable and used to play audio.

Solution:

1. Increase the volume of your phone and speaker and try again.
2. Remove and then reconnect the AUX audio cable to the speaker.

Problem 2:

No sound is played from the HUAWEI Sound speaker when it is connected to a phone with a 3.5-mm headset jack and Type-C port.

Solution:

It is recommended that you use the 3.5-mm headset jack to connect to the speaker and play audio.

Problem 3:

No sound is played from the HUAWEI Sound speaker when it is connected to a computer via an AUX cable.

Solution:

1. Remove and then reconnect the AUX audio cable to the speaker.
2. On the computer, set the audio output as the HUAWEI Sound speaker.
3. (Recommended) Update the audio card driver on your computer.
4. If the issue persists, check whether sound is played from the speaker when it is connected to your phone via an AUX cable.

If no fault can be found following the preceding methods, take your device and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for maintenance.

Problem 4:

No sound is played from the HUAWEI Sound speaker when it is connected to a TV via an AUX cable.

Solution:

1. Check whether the TV output port is a digital port or an analog port. An analog port is similar to the output port of earphones, and it can be connected directly to a speaker. However, for a digital port, a converter is required to convert digital signals into analog signals so that audio can be played from the speaker.

   Refer to the following figure for an example of what a converter may look like:

   

2. Set the TV audio output as SPDIF in the audio output settings.
3. If the problem persists, check whether sound is played from the speaker when it is connected to your phone or computer using an AUX cable.

If no fault can be found following the preceding methods, take your device and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for maintenance.
