Failed to enable the voice assistant on my HUAWEI watch

This feature is only available when your HUAWEI watch is paired with a HUAWEI phone running EMUI 10.1/HarmonyOS 2 or later.

Unable to find the voice assistant on my watch

  • Ensure that the Language and Region settings in your phone system Settings are consistent with those set in the Huawei Health app.
  • Voice assistant is only supported in certain languages and in certain regions: Simplified Chinese (Chinese mainland), English (UK), French (France), Italian (Italy), German (Germany), European Spanish (Spain), Arabic (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, and Kuwait), Malay (Malaysia), and Polish (Poland).

Unable to wake up the voice assistance on my watch

Currently, this feature is only available on the HUAWEI WATCH 3/4/5 Series. To wake up the voice assistant on other models, press and hold the Down button on your watch or tap the voice assistant icon on the Assistant·TODAY screen.

The watch displays "No Internet connection. Check the phone's network." when I wake up the voice assistant

Ensure that the phone's network connection is normal, the watch is properly connected to your phone, and the Huawei Health app is running in the background. Restart the voice assistant and check whether the issue persists.

Unable to wake up the voice assistant during a call on my watch

The voice assistant can't be woken during a watch call. End the call and then try again.

Unable to enable the voice assistant when using a third-party app on my watch

When using some third-party apps, the Down button is occupied and the voice assistant cannot be enabled. Close the third-party app and then try again.
