If an error occurs when enabling the voice assistant on your watch/band, perform actions based on the following scenarios:

Your watch/band prompts you that the voice assistant cannot be enabled

Update the Huawei Health app to the latest version and pair it with your watch/band. On the pairing success screen of the Huawei Health app, you will be prompted to enable the following permissions: 1. Automatically download update packages over Wi-Fi. 2. Automatically install the update packages and restart your device when it is not in use. 3. Download the feature package for enhancing user experience. You need to select the third option to download the feature package for enhancing user experience. Wait for several minutes for it to be downloaded and installed in the background, and then start to use it. If the issue persists, restart your watch/band and the Huawei Health app and try again.

Unable to find the voice assistant on my watch

  • On the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Series devices and HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner, the voice assistant is only supported by some languages and in some regions: Simplified Chinese (Chinese mainland), English (UK), French (France), Italian (Italy), German (Germany), European Spanish (Spain), standard Arabic (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, and Kuwait), Malay (Malaysia), and Polish (Poland).
  • Ensure that the language and region in Setup on your phone are consistent with those in the Huawei Health app.

The voice assistant of my watch/band fails to be enabled after the phone screen has been turned off for more than thirty minutes

When the phone screen is off for more than thirty minutes and you wake up the voice assistant on your watch, "No Internet connection. Check the phone's network." is displayed on the watch screen.

Unlock your phone and ensure that the network connection is normal, the wearable is properly connected to your phone, and the Huawei Health app is running in the background. Restart the voice assistant and check whether the issue persists.

The voice assistant fails to be enabled on my watch/band during a phone call

The voice assistant on the watch/band can't be woken during a phone call. End the call and then try again.

Failed to enable the voice assistant when using a third-party app on my watch

When using a third-party app, the Down button is occupied and the voice assistant cannot be launched.

The HUAWEI Band 6 Pro does not support third-party apps, so this scenario is not involved.
