Black borders appear on the screen

Go to Settings > System > Software update on the HUAWEI Vision to update the system to the latest version, and try the following:

  • HarmonyOS 2.0.0.340 or later: During screen projection, press the Menu key on the remote control, select Settings, and enable Auto-maximize to remove the black borders.
  • Versions earlier than HarmonyOS 2.0.0.340: During wireless projection, the aspect ratio on the HUAWEI Vision is the same as that on your phone/tablet. If your phone/tablet resolution does not support a 16:9 aspect ratio, the HUAWEI Vision will not display in full screen.

Black border appears on one side of the screen (for example, black border appears on the left, display normally on the right)

Enable Full-Screen Display on your phone and try once again. Follow the steps below:

  • For HUAWEI phones: Go to Settings, search for Status bar, touch Full Screen Display, and turn on the corresponding switch for apps.
  • For phones of other brands: Please call the customer service hotline of the phone brand for technical support.
