To provide you with an optimal user experience, the HUAWEI Vision will continuously release new versions that incorporate new features. Once a new version is available, the HUAWEI Vision will display a prompt, enabling you to receive new updates in a timely manner. To update your HUAWEI Vision, do the following:

• Manual update:

  Power on the Vision and go to Settings > System > Software update on the home screen. The Vision will automatically scan the system version. If a new version is found, a prompt will be displayed. Follow the onscreen instructions to update your HUAWEI Vision.

• Automatic update:

  If it is the first time that you are powering on your Vision, select Continue on the Keep your software up to date screen displayed during startup.

  If you have selected Update manually, on the home screen of the Vision, go to Settings > System > Software update, click Settings, and press the OK button on the remote control to enable Auto-update.

  Once Auto-update has been enabled, your Vision will check for updates during the first power-on of the day. If there are updates available, the Vision will automatically download the new version. After the download is complete, you will receive a notification. The Vision will automatically install the update when the screen is turned off or it is powered off.

   

  • The interval between two consecutive notifications for auto-update is at least 24 hours.
  • To disable auto-updates, go to Settings > System > Software update, click , and disable Auto-update.
  • The HUAWEI Vision does not support system version rollbacks.
