A password is required when the HUAWEI Vision is connected to the STB

Problem:

When the STB is connected to the Vision via HDMI1, the user is asked to input the password.

Solution:

Contact the STB provider for assistance.

 
  • The default password of the STB is 0000. If the password is incorrect, perform the following steps to restore the password. If the issue persists, contact the STB provider.
  1. Find the initial password in the STB product manual (if the password hasn't been changed) and then input the password.
  2. Press the menu button on the remote control of the STB to access the system settings. Find and disable the program lock option on the password settings screen.
  3. Press the menu button on the remote control of the STB to access the system settings. Select to restore the factory settings and then press OK. Press OK when the system prompts you to search for programs again.
