Insert and replace the tip of a HUAWEI M-Pencil series stylus
 
  • The stylus tips for HUAWEI M-Pencil (1st generation) and HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd/3rd generation) are different in materials and design, and are not interchangeable.
  • The stylus tips for HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) and HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation) are interchangeable.
  • The stylus tips for HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation) have been optimized and therefore outperform those for the 2nd generation. For a better writing experience, you are advised to use the stylus tips for the 3rd generation.
  • The stylus tips for HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro and HUAWEI M-Pencil series are different in design and are not interchangeable.

Replace

Refer to the figures below for replacing a stylus tip.

 
  1. Avoid rotating the stylus tip forcefully when inserting or replacing it. If the stylus tips are used up, you can purchase more from an official Huawei channel.
  2. If the stylus tip is broken, some of the stylus tip may remain in the stylus and cannot be removed manually. In this case, do not use sharp tools to remove the stylus tip, as this may damage its internal components. You can visit a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
  3. The stylus tip may wear out over an extended period of time. For example, if the internal metal of the stylus tip is exposed, replace the stylus tip in a timely manner to prevent scratches on the screen or a poor writing experience.
