How to set and use sound effects/multi-EQ sound effects on HUAWEI earbuds

Description

EQ is short for Equalization. It is used to adjust the sound effect by adjusting the gain and other parameters of different frequencies. Each set of EQ parameters corresponds to one sound effect. The earbuds' EQ settings offer multiple sound effects to choose from.

Requirements for using this feature

1. Earbuds' firmware:

   Update to the latest version.

2. System:

   EMUI/iOS/Android

3. App:

   AI Life/HUAWEI Audio Connect

   

   Since the AI Life App is no longer available in certain brand's app stores, you may search for ‌"HUAWEI Audio Connect App" to download and install it directly.

How to use

Connect the earbuds to your phone. Open the AI Life/HUAWEI Audio Connect app, navigate to the earbuds details screen, and tap Sound quality & effects/HUAWEI SOUND to set the sound effects.

1. Official preset sound effects:

You can select Default, Treble boost, Bass boost, or Voices based on your preferences, and tap to apply it.

2. Official featured sound effects:

Different earbud models come with their own set of featured sound effects. You can select and add these based on your preferences by tapping Add to apply them.

3. Custom sound effects:

You can manually adjust frequency bands and save the settings as My custom effect.

You can save up to 3 sound effects in Sound effects added, and swipe left on a sound effect to customize or delete it.
