Adding Huawei Health to the protected app list

Using Huawei phones running HarmonyOS 2.0 as an example:

  1. Go to Optimizer > App launch, toggle off the switch for Huawei Health, enable Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background in the Manage manually pop-up box, then touch OK.
  2. If you can't find Huawei Health in Optimizer, it indicates that this app has been added to the trustlist of the protected background apps by default. In this case, you will not need to reconfigure the trustlist. However, you need to check whether other phone manager apps, such as 360, QQ Manager, Tencent Mobile Manager, Clean Master, and LDS Benchmark, have been installed on your phone. If such an app has been installed, add Huawei Health to the list of protected background apps in the phone manager app.

If you are using a Huawei phone running Android 9.0 or later, Huawei Health has been added to the trustlist by default and you don't need to reconfigure the trustlist.

The actual steps to add Huawei Health to the protected app list vary depending on the phone model. For details on the path, consult the corresponding phone manufacturer.
