Adjusting the strap (HUAWEI watches)

Method 1:

Applicable to the ceramic strap of HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro 42 mm and the metal straps of the following models: HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro 46 mm, HUAWEI WATCH 4 Pro, HUAWEI WATCH GT 4, HUAWEI WATCH GT 3, HUAWEI WATCH 3 Pro, and the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate Series.

1. To remove a link, push the lever in the direction as indicated by arrow 1, and then remove the link following the instruction as indicated by arrow 2.

   

2. To add a link, push the lever in the direction as indicated by arrow 1, and then install the link following the instruction as indicated by arrow 2.

   

   Method 2:

   Applicable only to the ceramic strap of HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro 42 mm.

   1. To remove a link, use a screwdriver to rotate the screw counterclockwise and remove it, eject the bolt out of the other side, and remove the link.

      

   2. To add a link, align the new link with a link on the strap by the holes, insert the bolt from one side, install the screw on the other side, and rotate the screw clockwise to fasten the link.

      

Removing and installing the strap (HUAWEI WATCH GT Series devices with a Quick release button)

Fluoroelastomer/Composite/Leather/Milanese/Ceramic strap (with gaps between the strap and watch case)

To remove the strap, press the Quick release button as far as it will go and the spring bar rod will retract. Then pull out the strap to remove it.

To install a strap, insert one end of the strap obliquely into a spring bar slot, align the other end with the guide slot, and gently press the Quick release button while pressing down the strap to install it. Pull at the strap to make sure it doesn't fall out, meaning it's properly installed.

Fluoroelastomer/Metal strap (no gap between the strap and watch case)

To remove the strap, press the Quick release button as far as it will go and the spring bar rod will retract. Then lift the part where you're holding the strap to remove it.

To install a strap, align the positioning rod with the positioning holes on both sides, and press the Quick release button as far as it will go while pressing down the strap to install it. Pull at the strap to make sure it doesn't fall out, meaning it's properly installed.

Removing and installing the strap (HUAWEI WATCH FIT Series)

Silicone/Fluoroelastomer strap

To remove the strap, press the Quick release button while pulling at the strap to remove it. Repeat the operation on the other side of the watch case.

To install a strap, align the strap with the connecting slot on the case and press in the strap.

You'll need to purchase a Quick Release Link if you wish to switch to a leather or metal strap.

Leather/Nylon woven strap

To remove the Quick Release Link and strap together, press the Quick release button while pulling at the strap to remove it. Repeat the operation on the other side of the watch case.

To install the Link and strap together, align the Link with the connecting slot on the case and press in the strap.

To remove the strap alone, push the spring bar lever on the strap in the direction as indicated by the arrow, tilt the strap outwards, and pull it off.

To install a strap alone, align the side without the spring bar lever with the slot on the Link, push the lever in the direction as indicated by the arrow, align the spring bar pin with the fixing slot on the Link, and release the lever to secure the strap.

Milanese strap

To remove the Quick Release Link and strap together, press the Quick release button while pulling at the strap to remove it. Repeat the operation on the other side of the watch case.

To install the Link and strap together, align the Link with the connecting slot on the case and press in the strap.

To remove the strap alone, push the spring bar levers on the strap in the directions as indicated by the arrows, remove the strap from the Link, and release the levers.

To install a strap alone, push the spring bar levers on the strap in the directions as indicated by the arrows, align the spring bar pins with the fixing slots on the Link, and release the levers to secure the strap.

Non-metal strap

Follow the instructions as shown in the following image to remove the strap. To install a strap, perform the steps in the reverse order.

Metal strap

Follow the instructions as shown in the following image to remove the strap. To install a strap, perform the steps in the reverse order.
