PDF typesetting adjustment
To ensure a more comfortable reading experience, HUAWEI Books supports a PDF typesetting adjustment feature on the local reader. After adjustment, you can set the font, line spacing, alignment mode, reading background, and page turning mode. Comments, underlines, and full-text searches are currently not supported after adjustment.
Currently, only streaming typesetting e-books support typesetting adjustment. PDF e-books that only contain images (such as cartoons and scanned copies) don't support typesetting adjustment. To use typesetting adjustment, perform the following steps:
Touch the middle of the screen to display the menu bar, touch "
" in the upper right corner, and select Adjust typesetting. The adjusted e-book will appear in EPUB format.
You can also cancel adjustment by touching the middle of the screen to display the menu, touching "
" in the upper right corner, and selecting Cancel adjustments. The e-book will be restored to PDF format before adjustment.
PDF watermark removal
The PDF watermark removal feature is an auxiliary reading feature. Some non-standard watermarks may not be removable. To remove a watermark, perform the following steps:
Touch the middle of the screen to display the menu bar, touch "
" in the upper right corner, and touch Remove watermark. If the system displays a message indicating that the watermark has been removed, it means that the watermark has already been removed. If the system displays a message indicating that the watermark is a non-standard watermark and cannot be deleted, it means that the watermark cannot be removed.
If you wish to restore the watermark, touch "
" in the upper right corner, and select Re-add watermark.
