Add a printer

Connect to a printer using a USB cable

  • Connect to a printer using a USB cable
    1. Press +I to open the Settings window, and go to Bluetooth & other devices > Printers & scanners. (For Windows 10, go to Devices > Printers & scanners.)

      Click here to go to Printers & scanners.

    2. Click Add device next to Add a printer or scanner (Windows 10: Click Add a printer or scanner). The computer will automatically scan for printers.

    3. In the search result, find the name of the printer you want to connect and click Add manually.

    If the printer driver cannot be automatically installed on your computer, you can visit the printer's official website to download and install the driver package, or contact the printer vendor for the driver.

Remove a printer

  1. Press +I to open the Settings window, and go to Bluetooth & other devices > Printers & scanners. (For Windows 10, go to Devices > Printers & scanners.)

  2. Click the printer name and select Remove (or Remove device).
