Disconnect a HUAWEI 2-in-1 laptop from the keyboard

When the keyboard is connected to the laptop and has sufficient battery power, you can use the keyboard even if it is not attached to the laptop. To completely disconnect the keyboard from the laptop, you can remove the connected keyboard device in Huawei PC Manager.

Procedure:

1. Open Huawei PC Manager, and go to My devices > Other devices.
2. Double-click the keyboard device card, click in the upper right corner of the Huawei Accessories Center screen, and select Remove device.

   

3. In the displayed dialog box, click REMOVE.
   

   Once removed, the keyboard cannot be used when it is detached from the 2-in-1 laptop. If necessary, reconnect the keyboard to the 2-in-1 laptop.
